This book has earned a spot on my favorite children's book list and let me tell you why. 1. The illustrator did an outstanding job bringing this story to life. The pictures are so vibrant and captivating it draws you in. 2. The vocabulary utilized accompanied by the words definition was an awesome touch and when read aloud aids language development. 3. The message of the story. This story promotes girl power with out the restriction of sexism. This is feminism in child form that affirms to our girls they can be whatever they want however who they are is always okay and enough. I look forward to reading this to my babygirl til she can read it herself. Definitely a home library must have!!!!
